Investigating Cipherus

  • Murdoch identified people who might know something about Cipherus
  • Maia talked to Zhang Lin, he said that getting ahold of Cipherus was hard
  • The others asked around and was eventually told off by Deng Lin to stop

Recruiting Maria

  • After having found very little they decided to check with Maria
  • Maria thought she had ideas about Cipherus but wanted a greater deal
    • She knew Maia was up to something big and wanted in
  • They agreed to share what they knew if Maria helped them for now
  • Maria called her boss who called Yu Lin
  • A search was arranged of the floors that Cipherus had avoided

The Secret Office

  • They were able to find a secret office with a safe and papers everywhere
  • The top of the paper pile had a note implying that the safe was a decoy and the important papers had been hidden in the Labyrinth somehow but were now ejected
  • Maia found ownership papers of 30% of Microtech
  • They found definitive proof against Cipherus and correspondence implying Abyss had arranged everything in a building at Westview University

Westview University

  • The University building seemed abandoned
  • Elias got split from the group and found Cipherus alone
  • Cipherus acted as if nothing was wrong and suggested a new deal
  • The others caught up to them and didn't listen long to what Cipherus had to say before the bound him up in chains
  • They found Elias missing power source
  • They found more concrete evidence of Abyss' dealings

Session 37 - 2026-05-18

"Murdoch, you cannot invite just anyone here!" - Maia Won

Rendezvous at Eclipse Antiquities

  • Maia, Ludolf and Amelié arrived back at Eclipse Antiquities
  • They got whiskey and Maia called a car to get them to a private hospital ward
  • Alister and Elias entered with Opal
  • Alister was convinced that everything was Amelié's plan and he wanted an Alliance with her
    • They decided to meet the next night before he went back to Kelshia

The Night Road private hospital ward

  • Murdoch eventually found them and they had some catch up on what happened
  • Ludolf found that Opal was still in torpor due to her wounds

Ludolf and Amelié checks her appartment

  • Amelié who has realized that she is dead goes to her appartment to get stuff
  • She and Ludolf sneak in through the balcony after verifying that the coast is clear
  • She takes some vinyls and clothes but leaves most things

Murdoch brings Nyx to Eclipse Antiquities

  • Murdoch verifies with the help of Song that the cage is still there
  • He goes to visit Falcia Nyx who is the foremost expert on Ur he knows
  • After explaining what happened Nyx agrees to inspect the cage
  • Murdoch convinces her to get some normal clothes on the way

Twilight Breakfast with Alister

  • Maia, Amelié and Elias meet Alister at the Pisces Resturant
  • They discuss the events and what Alister knew of the Blue Court's plans
    • Alister did negotiate a minor deal with Lorenzo Garcés
    • Alister and his part of the Carmarilla will support them but there is politics
  • Alister goes back to Kelshia

Ludolf looks for the Grey Court

  • Ludolf whishes to find the Grey Court and heads to Pig Street in Freemarket
  • The portal was closed
  • He finds a grey court vampire who eventually informs him that the Grey Court split apart

Murdoch checks the Cage

  • Nyx and Murdoch study the Cage
    • She finds many different symbols
    • She finds symbols that represent Murdoch and herself
    • She finds the different endings and the one they desire
  • Ludolf arrives
    • Murdoch introduces him to Nyx
  • Everyone else arrives
    • Maia does not like that Nyx was invited there
  • They eventually agree that it's in all their interest to find and apprehend Cipherus

They move to find Ciperus

  • They go to the Shard building

  • They suspect Ciperus has left clues somewhere there

Act 4

Session 36 - 2026-05-04

"Sorry, I'm late" - Manfred Constantine

Weakening Abyss

  • Still being unseen, Maia and Elias cast spells against Abyss
    • Maia altered the power of the room, lighting it up with floodlights
    • Elias Influenced the reflections, focusing all the light on Abyss
  • Murdoch dashed in to save Rosie but got grabbed himself
  • Victoria Mabel and Yew Ti entered the room
    • Yew Ti created a wolf out of a knocked out Justicar

The Standoff

  • Victoria sugested Maia, Elias and Murdoch teamed up with them against Abyss
  • Abyss tried to convince them to team up with him instead
  • Murdoch shot Abyss in the face, getting out of his grip

Amelié and Ludolf

  • Amelié and Ludolf watched Ophys Seraph and Madrog Sot fight
  • Madrog Sot seemed to be winning until Ophys Seraph started turning into living Night
  • Ludolf noticed that a ring of fire had been lit around the Court of the Ten

Fight

  • Victoria and Yew Ti engaged Abyss
  • Murdoch released Rosie and helped her get Mercy away from the fighting
  • Elias used his Blowtorch to destroy one of Abyss' shadows
  • Maia Conjured restraints to slow Abyss down
  • Abyss was still restricted by the lights but started destroying them
  • Abyss showed the capacity to teleport between his shadows
  • Maia destroyed a shadow with the rifle she had taken from a Justicar
  • Amelié and Ludolf got to the fighting, finding it due to the powerful floodlights
  • Some of the Shadows were destroyed by rats
  • When enough lights were broken, Abyss killed Yew Ti
  • A molotov cocktail flew from somewhere and destroyed one of the Shadows

The Pale Man

  • The fighting grew to a temporary halt as a hurried scientist ran into the scene with a cage
    • He introduced himself as Manfred Constantine and proclaimed that everything had gone to his plans
    • It was suddenly apparent that rats surrounded the room, some with mechanical limbs
  • Murdoch took Rosie and Mercy to the
  • Abyss attacked him and the shadow he used got sucked into the cage
    • Abyss showed visible fear
  • Manfred said that the others had not changed since Losara, and that all survivors were invited to his future gathering.
  • It became clear to everyone that the building was on fire
  • Amelié used control to fire Maia's rifle at the elders

Chaos

  • Maia ran to get the cage which had absorbed all of Abyss shadows
  • Manfred got help from Oliver
  • The rats attacked
  • Ludolf used Valiena, who had been trying to stop them from shooting, as a weapon against the rats.
    • Valiena got free by using spark powder to get free
  • Elias cast a spell to make the rats consider them friendly
  • Maia threw the cage to Amelié in the air
  • Ludolf grabbed Maia and they escaped through the roof
  • Elias cast a story spell to let him and Opal escape

Escape

  • Oliver took on the form of the Pale Lion, and seemed ready to give chase to Amelié
    • Manfred said to let them go, the deed was done, they didn't need to posses the cage
  • The Pale Court members left the room with the intent to head to the Labyrinth gate
  • Victoria seemed content to let them go at that and decided to retreat herself
  • Elias got Opal who was surprised that anyone came for her
  • They went to the portal since the fires were spreading everywhere else
    • The portal was closed
  • Alister Gorvain found them, saying that he had followed the clues of Karnstein
    • Elias said that he would direct him to her. Gorvain used his blood to retrieve the 3 of them out of the burning castle

The Grey Court Castle

  • Murdoch arrived with Mercy and Rosie
  • They were met by Eileen, Murdoch debriefed quickly
  • Eileen and Mercy conversed quickly but neither were in the mood to chat
  • The Pale Court arrived and Manfred said that they had been squating on his turf long enough.
    • Then he closed the gate between the castle and the court of the Ten
  • Eileen sent Mercy and Rosie out on Pig street and then went to manage the situation

Session 35 - 2026-04-20

"Ludolf's real family is here to save him" - Amelié Auretti

Court of the Ten

  • Maia got questioned by Ophys Seraph
    • She told him what she thought he wanted to know and then he tried to snap her neck
    • As Maia tried to escape Elias cast a story spell to ensure it which went wrong
  • Ludolf went out and challenged his former master
    • Ophys had a monolouge on strength
    • Ludolf escaped past him, out into the skies, Ophys followed
    • Maia sent a devil after them and Amelié followed

Ludolf and Amelié fought Ophys

  • Ophys caught up with Ludolf among the towers of the Court of the Ten
    • Ludolf fought defensively
    • Maia's devil helped to distract Ophys, attacking him whenever he stopped
    • Amelié found a good position to attack from range
    • Ophys was knocked off a tower
  • Ludolf tried to dive attack
    • He tore appart one of Ophys´wings
    • Ophys grabbed him in the fall taking Ludolf with him down
  • They fought in the courtyard
    • Amelié attacked with silver daggers
    • Ludolf filled up on wounds
    • The Devil distracted Ophys
    • Ophys ripped Ludolf's arm of
    • Amelié attacked head on, putting herself between Ludolf and his former master
    • Ophys ripped appart the devil as Amelié and Ludolf tried to fly away
  • Madrog Sot appeared and challanged Ophys Seraph

Murdoch, Maia and Elias tried to find Abyss

  • They considered the information and concluded that they should get the help of the Justicars
  • They met Justine and Kanrad at the main entrance
    • They informed Justine of the threat of Abyss
    • She ordered a flame check for all squads
  • Murdoch, Maia and Elias entered with the Justicar squad
    • The squad obliterated the guards they've encountered before
    • They breached the Plenary hall and realized it was empty
    • They were attacked by a coterie of vampires, Justine got stabbed
    • Murdoch and Elias got out of the Plenary hall, following where Mercy would have gone
    • Maia restrained some of the Vampires
    • Maia then tried to save Justine but her Devil sent her after the others.
  • Murdoch, Maia and Elias followed Mercy and the leaders
    • They were methodical and stealthy
    • They realized that the group they were following had been split up
    • They followed Mercy
  • They found Mercy and Abyss next to one of the exits
    • Rosie and Arnold Ti were there and already defeated
    • Abyss seemed to try to taunt Mercy into performing a 'miracle'

Session 34 - 2026-04-13

"The rumor of my death has been greatly exaggerated" - Eileen Yoma

The Aftermath of Waroch Palace

  • They planned what to do in the Sewers
  • They went to the hospital with Amelié
    • The sorcerers did a corpse heist to fake Amelié's death
    • They used the candle to disguise it permanently

The went to Eclipse Antiquities

  • They planned what to do next
  • Murdoch explained Frenzy in the car
    • Then he explained his association to the Crone in the car

The Grey Court castle

  • Eileen announced her aliveness
  • Everyone got an hour to get ready before they would storm the Court of the Ten and end the blue court
  • Murdoch talked to Eileen
    • He stressed that the problem of Abyss was yet not solved
    • She said he could bring his team to handle it
  • The operatives exited the labyrinth in the Court of the Ten
  • They found the Main room where Mercy and Victoria negotiated
    • They didn't find Abyss so they cast a spell for Maia to see through obfuscation
    • When Maia went to check the room she was discovered by Ophys Seraph

Elias talks to Oswald McCain

  • They had to trick the guards to get into Oswald's room
  • Elias explained his plan to Oswald
    • Oswald was intrigued but skeptical
  • Oswald gave some information about the moon
    • Oswald explained in more detail what Victoria's plan for the moon was
    • He said that Elias limit of 100 years might not work, he suggested to instead turn the moons power directly against the vampires, weakening them all but not killing any of them
    • If Elias wanted something else he would have to design his own spell (A spell that one of the players can actually cast)
  • Oswald found the thought intriguing but then conceded that he was on the side of Mercy and would not betray her

Session 33 - 2026-03-30

"No, I'm going to kill you after we are done talking." - Lisa 'Mist' Heartkin

Confronting Murdoch

  • They gathered around Murdoch
    • Ludolf revived him with some blood
  • Maia was very sceptical of what he had done and laid out accusations for it
    • Murdoch managed to convince her that there was an explanation but it had to wait

Fighting Mist

  • Lisa Heartkin then found them
    • She revealed herself to be Mist
    • She accused them of being against her master's plans
  • She questioned them about who else knew about what they were doing
    • She revealed that Cipherus was working for them, "he yearned for a stable place in reality"
  • Maia conjured a second Devil
  • Mist attacked them
    • Ludolf fought her head on
    • Elias blocked her powers by making the window into a mirror and breaking it
    • Amelié did tricks with flying tables and knives
    • Maia had two devils and a whip
    • Murdoch fought with his Shadows
  • Mist brought forth a grenade to negotiate her escape
    • Ludolf cut of the hand
    • Murdoch dealt the killing blow

Dealing with the wounds

  • Ludolf administered first aid to Amelié who had been stabbed
    • Amelié sincerely thanked Ludolf
    • Ludolf threw himself away after due to hunger
  • They escaped through the sewers

Maia plans a heist

  • She invites Elias over
  • They need to find the location of her contract
    • She knows it is in an off-site vault

They move to get the intel

  • Maia visits Yu Lin
    • Elias sneaks in to access her documents
  • Maia arranges a meeting with the leaders of the Grey Court for a potential negotiation
  • They go over to the Grey Court Castle
  • They meet with Marble Phobos
    • Maia negotiates on the side of the Night Road
  • Ursula takes Maia aside and notes that the Night Road delegation is vulnerable she Inquires whether it would be a good idea to just eliminate them
    • Maia recommends against it
  • The Grey court arranges an arms deal which both parties accept
  • Maia left a note to Eileen that she wanted to meet

Murdoch found Rosie

  • He followed the out of the Palace
  • Murdoch followed them to the hospital
    • Murdoch told her about Abyss and the threat and what happened to Oswald
  • Rosie stayed with Oswald while Murdoch went home

Elias and Maia meets up

  • The vault is basically a fortress.
    • They would either need an army or an ally in the grey court or something very creative to get in there.

Session 32 - 2026-03-23

"Oswald doesn't work for the OBK, he is one of their greatest obstacles!" - Mirabelle Rose

Meeting Rosie in the corridors

  • Rosie threatens Murdoch and Ludolf
    • She is worried that the Grey Court is moving to hurt Mercy
  • Murdoch sees Opal move
  • Rosie reveals that she is working for the Kelshian Foreign Inteligence
  • She reveals that Oswald is not involved in the OBK and in fact are their enemy
  • They went to stop Opal

Fighting Abyss

  • Opal was already in the main hall talking to Mercy
    • She uses a shadow tendril and leaves something in Mercy's chest
  • They intercept Opal on the way and attack her
    • Opal said "hurting me doesn't hurt him"
  • Murdoch frenzies as he reaches 5 hunger
    • He attacks Opal and then escapes
    • He uses a blood seal to supress enemies
  • Rosie shoots Abyss and Ludolf runs

The aftermath

  • The others are informed of what has transpired
  • They meet Rosie at the site
    • Maia stays to conjure a devil and is apprehended by security
  • They go to the kitchen for a headcount
    • Which passes, thanks to Elias

The tumult

  • There was another scream
  • Maia and Amelié investigate another room.
  • In the ceiling there is a victim of a crone ritual
  • They track it to Murdoch in the second floor rooms

Amelié learns magic

  • Amelié hangs out in her appartment
  • She goes to meet with Maia
    • She charms Song Yuying with sandwiches
  • Maia takes her to meet Carlos
  • Carlos explains sorcery and night

Amelié and Maia meets Margaret Ingers

  • They go to the Yay & Mall to meet Carlos' contact
  • Margaret introduces herself, and says she wants to remain in public
  • They discuss Gate and the Cult of Sha
    • Margaret might be able to get her into contact with a monk of Sha
  • Amelié mentions that she is part of the Eternal Song
  • Margaret gets spooked and leaves

Session 31 - 2026-03-16

"I pay service to you and your kin, honored spirit" - Drunk Wei Yang

Opal's hideout

  • Cipherus was there
    • Maia traded information, the attack of Abyss and that he wasn't killed, against that Cipherus revealed that Opal and Mist had been there and ransacked the place.
    • Cipherus said that Abyss vessel was named Jarek and that he was an ancient hero
      • Abyss seemed to need a fated vessel and couldn't use any schmuck
      • Murdoch made the connection that the bombshark may have gained them something after all since such a vesel was probably not easy to come by
    • Cipherus told them that they had a chance at Waroch Palace
      • He had a contact, who was head of staff there named Lisa
      • They were told to be careful with Lisa
  • They investigated if there was traces of Opal
    • They found a security room and saw a live video of Opal and Mist in the entrance
  • They followed Opal and Mist by car
    • Elias beheld communication and only saw the talk of the driver
      • He mentioned the university
    • The driver left Opal and Mist at Warroch Palace

They prepared to go to Waroch Palace

  • Amelié invited Maia over
    • She gave Maia an envelope to be opened if she died, with the words "there is someone who needs to be taken care of"

Warroch Palace

  • They had a real hard time getting in to the palace
  • They went to meet the contact Lisa
    • She gave them access to being part of the staff
    • She said she would be hard to find
  • They went to the 2nd Floor rooms to get an overview

Ultimate Shitty Tactics

  • They decided to give Oswald a laxitive
    • Maia added it to a wine bottle
    • Amelié were to control it so that other guests would get normal wine
    • Elias distributed it to Oswald

Ludolf drinks with Wei Yang and Pandora

  • The celebrate their victories and Wei's further revenge
  • They talk about Grey Court stuff and the New Future (Vegan vampires) faction
    • They tell him about Wolf, son of the Moon
  • They ask Ludolf about what he cares for which isn't revenge
    • Ludolf doesn't know who else he is
    • He realizes that he haven't even seen his grave
    • Pandora calls Linda and asks her to find Ludolf's parrents
  • They go to the graveyard
    • They eventually find Ludolf's memorial

Ludolf meets Ulf

  • Ulf gives the short answer that to drink less blood is easy, just don't use your powers
  • Ulf speaks about Vitality and the challanges of avoiding consuming blood
    • They haven't found a way to store vitality outside humans
    • Vampire fangs are one of few ways to extract Vitality
    • They have made a device which can (more safely) transfer vitality from a human to a vampire but it requires a sorcerer to make it function
  • Ulf said that if Ludolf can obtain the machine that the Pale man has made then maybe there is hope for the device still

Session 30 - 2026-03-08

"Let's just off him now with a bomb shark" - Murdoch probably

On boats

  • Gorvain had demanded for Karnsteing to join him
  • They speculated about how to kill Abyss
  • They sent a devil to disable the helicopter with a system disabling hat

Bomb Shark

  • When the meeting was over, Victoria and Abyss were to leave together
  • The crew sent a bomb shark to blow up that boat
    • Victoria threw herself of the boat before it exploded

Post talk

  • They made plans to handle Oswald McCain
    • Amelié had mad a scavanger hunt for Alister
    • They wanted to get Oswald to follow him
    • Then Amelié was to kill him

Post plans

  • Maia checked with her sister
    • She learned that Yun had met Oswald since he visited the Library, he seemed nice
  • Amelié sets up things at the Rose if she was sought after
    • They will take a message if Blue Court calls
    • If Gorvain shows up he is to talk to Lorenzo and be given a letter with a further riddle

Opal's hideout

  • They went to meet with Opal but she was not there.
    • The place looked stealthily ransacked
    • Ludolf sensed Cipherus there

Murdoch woke up Nyx again

  • Nyx had some answers for him
    • She told him of how the Crone trapped the Sphere and how she planned to trap it by gaining it's favor and using the Sphere as a bait
  • Murdoch spirited her away to his apartment
    • They found innocent civilians to feed on
  • Nyx, there, revealed that the power of the moon could destroy the Crone outright

Session 29 - 2026-03-02

Queen of Spades

  • Amelié went to the boat with Alister
  • The rest weighed their options of how to get over there
    • They decided to steal a workboat and drive as close as possible
  • Amelié met with Victoria and Abyss
  • Gorvain was there and Amelié hid behind Alister to avoid him
  • When the meeting started Gorvain threatened Ameliés backstory unless she spied on it for him
    • She made an attempt, but when her spell was cut of by one of Abyss' shadows she panicked and got away as fast as possible
  • Amelié flew over to the other boat
    • They were followed
    • Through magic they stayed ahead of the pursuers
  • Just as they were about to get away there was a shout of there being a misunderstanding.
    • Apparently Alister was making quite a fuss about her running away and the blue court had no choice but to humor him
  • Elias transferred his fracture to a random human
  • Amelié went back and was allowed to join the meeting with the Blue Court
    • She changed into a new dress

Elias spoke with Eliza about his plans

  • He imagined that there was something that could be done with the moon which would help sorcerers with their place in the world.
  • Eliza questioned if they knew of a way to even do that
  • Elias thought they knew some people who might be of use to determine that

Elias Talks to Tess Phobos

  • Elias and Eliza went to the Grey Court Castle
    • They left a romance novel for Eileen
  • They found Tess Phobos in her laboratory
  • Tess explained some about Ur and the moon
    • The fundamental structure of the world is patterns, that is Ur.
    • The Blue Court was likely going to use Ur artefacts to inscribe sorcery into the Moon
    • Manfred seemed to be planning something more advanced which she couldn't fathom

**Elias and Eliza discussed what they learnt at the Clarion Hotel

  • They invite Maia into their plans

Session 28 - 2026-02-20

Timeskip to the Kelshian Delegation

  • The Grey Court spent it's efforts seizing the other major cities of Hjero
  • Amelie visited Ludolf and they trained together
    • She learned that Ludolf knows many vampires weaknesses

Preparations for the delegation

  • Amelie spread rumors about being a big time vampire lady, she got the help of the archipelagos vampires
    • Grey Court hired The Rose to support the claims
    • She created the persona of Countess Mircala Karnstein
  • Murdoch investigated Oswald McCain
    • Learns that he is chancellor and responsible for occult affairs
  • Elias also investigates Oswald McCain
    • Learned that he has fought elders and won
    • Once by throwing something at them
  • Maia investigates Alister and the Camarilla through the Night Road, and learns that he is kinda passive
    • He is high society and prince of Kelshia (the capital)
    • He was the best choice to send since he is not overly political or ambitious but still powerful and an elder, (and Mercy can stand him)
  • Ludolf helped and spent time with Pandora and Wei Yang with operations outside New Trago.
    • Wei Yang is philosophical but indecisive, Blue Court murdered his family
    • Pandora is friends with Linda but is not personally motivated for a side

Date Night

  • Amelié had made it so that Alister Gorvain had invited her out for a date
  • He picked her up in his Fancy Car
  • They went to the opera
    • They did not sell seats for an already started performance
    • With the help of Elias, the man at the desk was convinced to help them
    • They then lured away the people from one of the balconies to make it available
  • Alister seemed content with the eavning and invited Coutess Karnstein to accompany him to his next appointment which was the gathering at the Queen of Spade, the blue court boat where pre-negotiations would take place.

Session 27 - 2026-01-26

Talking to the Justicars

  • They went to the house of law for a meeting with Justine Ytterum
  • Murdoch led the meeting
    • Justine asked about the nature of vampirism and the vampire factions
    • Murdoch told her that the Grey Court had goals that would align with their interests
    • Murdoch compared the inquisition to a genocide against a minority
    • Justine argued that this was a minority of wealthy serial killers
    • She did ask if he believed that vampires could exist without deaths
    • She asked wether who he found to moral vampires and asked if Ilsa would be such.
    • Murdoch insisted that many vampires were moral but that new vampires should not be picked by the state

Scheming with Opal

  • The group went to Opal's lair
  • They found a bunch of information regarding the Kelshian delegation.
  • Opal laid out what was going to happen
    • Night 1
      • On day 1 Mercy would meet with human dignitaries at the house of law
      • Gorvain would meet with the blue court, Abyss or Mist would be there
      • McCain would stay in
    • Night 2
      • There would be a banquet with the Supreme Council at Waroch Palace
    • Night 3
      • There is to be a secret meeting with the Blue Court at the court of the Ten after the delegation has officially started traveling home
  • They suggested following Abyss on the first night
    • Opal had gotten them explosives
    • Opal was to distract Mist to ensure Abyss would atend, since Mist would be harder to follow
  • Amelié was to charm her way in with Alister Gorvain
    • Eileen could give them a backstory for Amelié
    • Murdoch noted that they planned that in front of Opal

Act 3

Session 26 - 2026-01-19

Speaking to Eileen

  • Eileen was draped over a yoga ball complaining that she was bored
  • Amelié arrived first and gave a puzzlebox to Eileen
  • They asked about payment which frustrated the queen
  • They mentioned Abyss to Eileen, she didn't seem worried but was happy to let them handle it
  • Eileen explained
    • The Blue Court are to make a deal with Kelshia
    • On the third day, the inqusition are planned to assault the Blue Court
      • She had arranged this
      • She did not mention any knowledge of the players talking to the Inqusition as well
    • They wanted to dissipate the Moon
      • The players did not believe her
    • She thought that machine sorcery was the future of sorcery
    • Maia was to handle the Sorcerers after the reveal
      • There was about 100 sorcerers in New Trago
    • The Pale Courts plan was to go to the moon to place a nuke there
  • Amelié gave a gift to Eliza of chocolates, soaps, wine and contact information

Going out for drinks

  • Amelié invited Maia for drinks who misunderstood and invited the rest as well
  • They all bonded
  • Amelié drunkenly asked Ludolf about his love life which made him angry and he explained how that wasn't an option for him since he had been a slave for 20 years

Session 25 - 2026-01-12

Amelié and Rosie were in Eileen's quarters

  • Rosie went through Eileen's documents
  • Amelié set up to frame her with a camera but got caught and Rosie took the film
  • Rosie left but Amelié still got some of her blood on a knife to incriminate her
  • Amelié then prepared the room for assassination

The Operatives Were sent off

  • Murdoch, Maia, Ludolf and Elias spoke prepared
    • Murdoch used a spell to surpress magic
  • Maia's devil returned and told her that her target was in the top tower
  • On the way up they prepared more
    • Murdoch scouted ahead with a shadow
    • Maia conjured a wrestler Devil

Clash in the Grey Court castle tower

  • Ludolf and a devil went in to capture Amelié
  • Amelié had prepared and sent out furniture and blades to block her pursuers
  • Ludolf waded through it and still caught her and wrestled her down on the ground
  • Amelié surrendered and negotiated with them.
    • Eliza told her that they were trustworthy
    • She told them that she had been there with Rosie
    • She agreed to their terms that the grey court would fake the Grey Queens death if she would not hurt her

Wrap up

  • Eileen spoke to the party in her room
  • At the party there had been a show of the Grey Queen puppet standing up as if to hold a speech and then disappear
  • Murdoch talked to Rosie and told her to leave because she was found out
    • She expressed actual regret to having used him for her work
    • She couldn't give him any information on who she worked for but thought it wouldn't hurt them directly
  • Ludolf spoke to Linda
    • They had their final dance
    • Ludolf kissed her at the end

Amelié reported job done

  • Amelié went to the Rose to tell he bosses that the job was done
  • She spoke to Lorenzo Garcés who changed the reward. Her mother got a promotion in their fake job for her but was not freed
  • She told him that the small girl, Eileen had been the queen.
  • He told her that she had another job right away, to kill one of the ten that was in the theater at that moment
  • Amelié set out for it, she thought about what the job could be about. She realized that it was probably about the matter of the Marbians since that vote was very heated and very even.
  • She snuck in among the dancers for the performance and committed the murder

Session 24 - 2026-01-04

Amelié followed Rosie

  • They went into an office and got into a fist fight
    • Amelié won with a knife against the other woman's neck
    • She asked some questions
  • They teamed up

Eilas and Ludolf talked to Marble

  • Marble questioned Elias and Ludolf
  • They talked about the plans do destroy the Blue Court
  • She was interested in that Elias was a sorcerer
  • They Talked to Angelica
    • They lost 5 minutes

Maia and Mudoch talked to Eileen

  • She asked him questions which led to him figuring out what the Grey Courts grand next step was
  • Murdoch told her that he had a mystery back to annoy her, which didn't work to well
  • Maia and Murdoch told Eileen about the assassin

Most people met down at the main floor

  • Eileen informed Marble and Sot about the threat
  • Eliza told to Eileen
  • Eileen told them to capture the assassin instead, so that she could fake her death

Ludolf invaded the Seraph Manor

  • Ludolf spoke to Linda Fache and was told that she has gotten a task force for him
  • She told him that she was forbidden from seeing him again
  • He got the help of Pandora and Wei Yang
  • They ambushed and killed Gerard Seraph
  • They found Aric
  • They were intercepted by Yulia Seraph and the two of them had a final confrontation
  • Ludolf killed Yulia
  • Aric was sent away to Ill Gano

Session 23 - 2025-12-29 (In person)

They travel to the Ball

  • Murdoch is surprised to see Rosie, who is happy to see him
  • They go to the Court of the Ten and enter the labyrinth through an elaborate door

They arrive

  • They go to the Grey Court castle
  • There is a shadowy woman on a balcony above implied to be the Grey Queen
  • Madrog, Eileen and Marble, the three Archons, hold an opening toast
  • Murdoch and Rosie talks to Eileen under a table where she hid.
  • Maia notices the two sides of the Grey Court

There is a dance performance

  • Amelié puts on a stunning dance performance with Ursula and Carmen
  • Eliza recognizes her and she and Elias approach her afterwards
  • Elias is sent away and Eliza questions her about what she is there for, Amelié tells her that it is the worst thing

The Ball proper

  • Murdoch danced with Rosie and learnt that Rosie did not seem as surprised about things as she should be
  • Maia speaks to Angelica Phobos who is for the Aught Caste
  • Maia identified Linda Fache as a connecting point for the progressives, they talked shortly after Angelica tried to mesmerise Maia.
  • Eliza tells the rest that Amelié is an assassin and that she is sure that she is there on a job
    • She insists that they have to find a way to stop her that doesn't involve killing her
    • Amelié listens in on the conversation and hears when they say that Eileen is the Grey Queen
  • They spread out to protect the main members of the Grey Court and to warn Eileen.

Maia is approached by Eileen

  • They discuss the Marbians as the face of magic
    • Eileen want Maia to lead it, she needs a charismatic person who is already a master
  • Maia reluctantly agree
  • They realize that they need a new source of power for her and to get her out of the Night Road

The Prison Assault

  • Maia discusses the new plan with Yun
  • Yun begins to believe again
  • However Nanami Tanaka is still a problem as Yun has heard she is going to kill Eders North in prison
  • They infiltrate this group
  • When Nanami holds a speech Maia questions her
    • She asks questions about there really being a plan and people join her
  • She uses Transfer to steal the Light from around her proclaiming herself the Thief of Light and convinces the people to follow her instead.

Session 22 - 2025-12-09

Murdoch confronts Bishop

  • Murdoch asked about his murder and accused Bishop of it
    • Bishop confirmed it and said that he left Murdoch investigating it to provide him purpose
  • Murdoch asked why Bishop hadn't told him about being his true sire
    • Bishop questioned where he would have heard such a thing
    • Murdoch eventually told him about his encouter with Nyx
    • Bishop explained that Nyx was mad and couldn't be let to roam free
  • Murdoch and Bishop went to the Cathedral
    • They looked for Nyx but she was no longer in her coffin
    • They searched the place, Mudoch entered a corridor which hadn't been there before
    • Murdoch met Nyx in an imposible ritual room. She told him that with the moon ritual it would be possible to destroy the Crone outright.
    • Mudoch entered the circle where he saw cracks in reality which seemed to strengthen Nyx's argument, he also gained the powers of the Crone
    • Bishop found them, Nyx was sorrowful about his betrayal and her failings as a mother.
    • Bishop staked Nyx
    • Murdoch convince Bishop that they still might need Nyx

They go to speak with the Justicars

  • They meet Kanrad Teal, Alice Reller and Marko Banks in Mala Park
  • They inquire into the Justicars intentions, the Justicars argue that Vampires should definitely not rule society
  • They thought they were all Vampires
  • Alice is rude and is sent away
  • They tell the Justicars about the general factions in exchange for not having the Lancea being further pursued with promises of maybe meeting again.
  • Maia was revelotionary
  • Blue Court attacked them
  • Grey Court infiltrates politics
  • There would be fines for murders

They go to the ball

  • Elias bring Eliza
  • Linda picks them up with a limousine
  • Rosie arrived to meet them

Session 21 - 2025-11-24

Ludolf lamented the loss of Aric

  • Ludolf called the Grey Court and told them of their hurt vampires, then he called Murdoch to meet him
  • When Murdoch arrived he took Ludolf to feed on a schmuck which was killed in the process, they left him in the alley.
  • Then Ludolf told Murdoch of the events that transpired

They went to speak to Cipherus

  • Maia met Maria
  • Cipherus told them of Oswald McCain and how he was the one who was spreading the influence of OBK in Hjero
  • Cipherus tasked the operatives with removing Oswald McCain from the negotiations by the third day
    • Cipherus didn't mind if he died but figured that others might
  • Elias used Sorcery to figure out that Cipherus was originally from the Sphere
    • The spell didn't reveal anything at all at first which was strange
  • He offered them great rewards
    • Maia was offered half her debt cleared
    • Murdoch and Ludolf was offered a key which could keep the Lancea hidden from the war
    • Elias was offered an occult book on the topic of Angels and Ur

They went partying with Maria

  • Maria was interested in hearing about New Trago and its state
    • They didn't tell her very much that wasn't public knowledge
  • Maria told them to not trust Cipherus
    • She was vague about what she actually knew but alluded to that he had tried something on her before
  • She flirted with Murdoch
    • She used sorcery to conveniently change the music

Elias seeked out help from Cipherus to solve his problems with Eliza

  • Elias and Eliza met Cipherus in an Alley
    • He wanted help breaching back into the Sphere
    • Cipherus agreed on the condition that he would recieve the stolen power and that Elias signed a contract for their upcomming mission
    • Elias agreed
  • They met at Elias apartment where Cipherus Connected Elias to the Sphere through Eliza
  • In the Sphere, Elias arrived in an ongoing story
    • He decided to play along, going on a months long epic quest against the dark lord of that land
    • Eliza also appeared and saved him a time when all seemed lost
    • They defeated the dark lord and Elias acquired the power to restore the land, he thought that it was what he was after but then realized that it had been Eliza on that side all along.
    • He restored the lands and took Eliza home by figuring out connections
  • Elias succeeded and had gained the alignment: the Network
  • Cipherus left with the power which then filled his small jar.

Session 20 - 2025-11-17

"I propose we make the Marbians the new face of Sorcery" - Maia Won

They discussed the recent events

  • The Lancea et Sanctum no longer felt like a relevant power, maybe even a liability
  • The Night Road was profiteering assholes
  • The Grey Court might be the only remaining viable option

Elias told Maia about his wife

  • Maia knew Mythology and made the connection that it all sounded like a story but couldn't give concrete advice, there were too many stories that spun similar situations in different directions.

Murdoch and Ludolf went to talk to Bishop at the Karsson Household hideout

  • They told Archibald that the Pale Court no longer felt like an option after they found out that they intended to blow up the moon.
  • They planned to make a deal with the Grey Court, sooner rather than later, Bishop accepted that course of action.

They met with Linda Fache to discuss an alliance with the Grey Court

  • Eileen joined them uninvited
  • Murdoch asked about what the Grey Court wanted and speculated with some prompting that the Grey Court wanted to compete with the Night Road. Eileen didn't confirm or deny that.
  • Maia found the idea interesting and wanted the Marbians to be the face of Sorcery.
  • Murdoch wanted the Lancea to be included in the new order and for the Kratic church to adapt, Eileen was willing to help out with some PR people but did question if Murdoch had thought his request through, Murdoch was not willing to answer that.
  • Ludolf asked about the future of vampires. Eileen explained that it was not agreed on yet within the faction and that she would not be able to control it due to the tumultuous times which were expected.
    • She did hint at there being many different ideas within the Grey Court of where they would take it
  • Elias wanted to benefit personally, Eileen was plenty fine with letting him have whatever artifacts he could grab at the end of the Blue Court
  • Eileen said that Ludolf no longer needed to help Linda with her errands. Linda didn't seem happy with that.

Ludolf went to see Aric

  • He found a walkie talkie in Aric's cell, and was greeted by Alicia Seraph (the Jokster of the Seraphs) she said she had Aric and that Ludolf should come get him.
  • Before that Ludolf was given the chance to save the doctors that had been taking care of Aric.
    • Alicia didn't seem to know that anyone there was Grey Court and seemed to think that they were Ludolf's allies.
    • The apprentice had a mechanical blade inserted into him which Ludolf had to remove
    • The doctor, which Ludolf had never seen before, was strapped with a bomb-collar, Ludolf was to drink five vials of blood if he wished to free her.
    • Ludolf instead methodicly crushed her jaw and skull to get the collar off
  • Ludolf then faced Alicia, Gerard and Yulia.
    • He got the impression that they were testing him as a candidate for Ophys inner circle
    • Yulia challanged him to a fight, and the two clashed.
  • Before a victor was decided Ophys found them
    • Ophys dismissed the rest of the spawn.
    • He stated that the only real test now was a test of loyalty before he left

Session 19 - 2025-11-03

"The Pale Court intends to destroy the moon." - Opaline Hartell

They met with Opal

  • She told them about Abyss' plan to kill Mercy and wanted to recruit them to save the Angel
  • They learned that Mercy's death was one of the things that could trigger the power gathered in the moon.
  • They agreed, that it was a good idea to not let the Demon succeed.
  • Opal went out while they discussed and they found her listening device and crushed it.
  • They asked about the Pale Court and was told that they aimed to destroy the moon.
  • Apparently the Pale Court were the ones to start the whole thing to begin with.
  • She told them that the Pale Court was influencing the space program to have control over the moon landing.

The went to find the captive Lancea et Sanctum Vampires

  • Elias used Bertrands connection to the vampires to find that they were in the royal tower on Rumi Isle.
  • They got past the human doorman through alter and went up to the top section.
  • They retrieved Ludolf who ascended on the outside of the opposite building in fear of Blue Court surveillance.
  • Murdoch searched through the rooms by using a shadow which he could see and hear from.
  • He found three Vampires in the penthouse suite. He felt like one of them was a Ventrue.
  • Maia conjured a potency 4 devil.
  • They went up to the Suite and attacked. Ludolf and Murdoch went for the Ventrues while the devil held of the knight.
  • Elias confused the stronger Ventrue before he was overcome by the carnage and too cover.
  • Ludolf finnished everyone off.

They found the missing vampires staked and bound in a vault

  • Maia was on very high fracture, and unhelpful.
  • Murdoch and Ludolf started getting the vampires out and sent Elias and Maia to gather victims to feed blood to them.
  • There was a call from Yan Ti, that they were on their way to discuss the muster and the Lancea.
  • The operatives rushed and got out of there in time.

Session 18 - 2025-10-27

"This office is yours now, we see the need to make you a separate organisation to let you act without the associated risks and responsibilities of the Night Road" - Zhang Lin

Ludolf was invited to a café by Linda Fache

  • She invited Ludolf and his companions to the Grey Court ball.
  • The Grey Court was going out of hiding.
  • She tried to convince him that the Masquerade was going down.
  • She mentioned that the Grey Court would not last after the war.
  • She said that the Grey Court is his best bet if he wanted to take down Ophys Seraph

Murdoch went to see Ilsa Engel

  • Murdoch got a letter from Ilsa Engel who wanted to meet him and invited him over to her apartment.
  • He went there and got some questions about vampires and the masquerade, especially immortality.
  • She wanted him to talk to the Justicars, he was hesitant.
  • They were still friends when he left but hadn't planned another meeting.

Zhang gave Maia her own office and told her to handle everything independently

  • Zhang told her that the Lancea was rumored to leave the city.

The group checked out Maia's new office and discussed which faction to ally with

  • They disregarded the Blue Court because they all had some version off beef with them.
  • They dismissed the Inquisition since those people wants to kill vampires
  • They didn't like the Grey Court since they were involved in politics?
  • They leaned towards the Pale Court since they weren't any of the above.
  • Sphere was not brought up since Elias still keeps that a secret.

Maia got a call from her sister who wanted to meet again

  • Yun had found that there was potential vampire influence in the Mourners of Marbia.
  • They met in the subway and Maia learned of the leadership of the Mourners
  • Satoshi wanted to make peace now
  • Nanami Tanaka wanted to burn their enemies
  • Yun wanted to investigate Satoshi, to see if he had vampire contacts
  • They went to the mourner rally, and listened to his speech.
  • They followed him to a meeting with Linda Fache.
  • The Seraphs interrupted everything as they were working with Nanami.
  • Yulia went to kill Satoshi Maia stopped her with restraints.
  • Maia and the Mourners then escaped.
  • Yun seemed dejected at what they learned, but Maia was having ideas of how Takumi might be rescued.

Session 17 - 2025-10-20

"I gave you new life just after you had been killed by Archibald Jayce" - Falcia Nyx

Elias met Eliza at his apartment

  • She was still small and blue and told him that she is now a denizen of both worlds.
  • She gives him some more information about what the sphere seems to want.
  • They didn't specifically figure anything out. Eliza then went to explain what happened to her team.

Maia went to the sewers with Ludolf and finished up her contract with Sandy

  • She was recommended to find something novel as a gift to Manfred.
  • Sandy says that she likes Maia and that she would be willing to work together again.

Elias went to Cipherus and told him of the Grey Court castle and asked about Demons

  • Cipherus asked him to hide the fact that they knew each other if they met again

Elias tells Murdoch and Maia about him finding the Grey Court

  • He told them that he saw Ludolf with Linda Fache.
  • He keeps Cipherus and Eliza's involvement hidden.
  • Murdoch trusted Ludolf and said that he thought he had a reasonable explanation.
  • Elias told Maia that Mi Lin was the traitor. Maia wanted to exploit that information, Elias asked her not to, since his source didn't want to be implicated.

Ludolf arrived, he explained the situation truthfully and told them he was a Seraph

  • Ludolf assured them that he had no love for the Grey Court
  • They have a long discussion about not keeping secrets from each other

Murdoch investigated his death again

  • He went to the place he was killed and fell into old habits and checked out the areas the investigation had taken him to.
  • He found an old hotel that seemed to be the same as it was then. He rented the room he had been going to investigate at the time and found a platered over attic hatch.
  • He found an old skeleton in a circle of black blood. Blood of his kin.
  • He investigated the body and when he tasted the blood it spoke to him and told him to free it at the church.
  • There he met an old staked woman who called herself Nyx. She said that she was the fourth hierophant and his sire.
  • She told him that the Crone was attacking Sanctuary and was draining its' powers. She had devised a plan to join the crone to persuade it to stop.
  • The rest of Lancea et Sanctum had though that she had gone crazy, and eventually Bishop had staked her just after he murdered Murdoch and Nyx had Sired him.

Session 16 - 2025-10-13

"Maybe don't make a deal with a demon" - Eileen Yoma

The Board of the Night Road had a meeting

  • They spoke of the rising tensions between the courts in New Trago.
  • They concluded that more resources was necessary. Each of the members offered som people.
  • They discussed the inquisition.
  • They thought that they were weak now but not out of the running and assuming that a court fell they could be the next new enemy of the victor.
  • It was decided to approach the Inquisition and offer trade.

The operatives went to meet with representatives of the Pale court at the Underground bar

  • They met with Oliver who was quite blasé about higher ups and was of the opinion that they as operatives had more influence in the decisions of their superiors.
  • Valiena then turned up as well. She gave them the speech that the Pale Court was after the grand goal of increasing the amount of Night in the world.

Elias pulls a heist on the Grey Court

  • He asked his contact Cipherus for help, he told him that Mi Lin is a Grey Court defector
  • Elias loses his memory, he comes to in the middle of tailing Mi Line to her meeting
  • He and Eliza finds out that she has a meeting with Linda and Ludolf.
  • Eliza puts a bug on them and they follow Linda to Pig street and the entrance of the Labyrinth.
  • They find the Grey Court castle, Eliza wants to go back and think it all through
  • Elias agrees then loses memory and is then at the top of the castle
  • They listen to Eileen and Marble Phobos having a conversation about a saucy romantacy book
  • Elias distracts Eileen and Eliza steals the third pearl.
  • Elias meets Visionary on a small stage, she says that they've talked many times before but Reality takes it all away from him. She helped him learn Sorcery and is his Patron. Through the pearl and Eliza she has now found a way to make the contact stay.
  • Eliza turned into a small blue fairy version of herself. She seems confused.
  • Visionary asks Elias to help her to unify the Sphere and reality by writing it into existence when he is present at the conflict of the moon.
  • He is sent back. Eileen has forgotten he was there. This is the last time Visionary can retract his story to hide his existence.
  • Elias gained the Key of Story

Act 2

Session 15 - 2025-10-06

"Back from the dead Ludolf, and maybe not a complete weakling anymore." - Yulia Seraph

The operatives discussed at the bar regarding their approach for saving the Bishop

  • They decided that they should move as quick as possible to act before the Blue Courts attack.
  • The drove to the Inquisition base and hid their car in a clearing.

At the Inqusition base

  • Ludolf did some scouting by flying over the facility. He estimated that the blue court attack would be from every direction.
  • Maia created a door in the outer wall and Elias kept patrols and onlookers away from it with sorcery.
  • They entered the main complex and decided by the powers of seeker to seek out the command centre.
  • They moved quietly through the base and only got discovered once as they entered an office and Ludolf had to incapacitate the worker there with his medicine knowledge.
  • They eventually found the command centre and the room where Bishop were being held with two guards. There were two Justicars in an adjacent room which were never alerted.
  • Elias put one to sleep and Ludolf took care of the other.
  • Murdoch insisted on getting out right away and Bishop was onboard, they all concluded that there was no time to get the other vampires of Lancea et Sanctum.

When they got out

  • they realized that the attack was already in motion and that their gate had been found. The alarm rung as they were confronted by Yulia and Barbara Seraph.
  • Yulia found the entire situation quite interesting.
  • She was surprised ot find Ludolf alive and in the company of Maia whom she called a traitor after the events at Waroch Palace.
  • Yulia demanded that, for them all to pass, Bishop had to swear fealty to the Blue court.
  • Maia bluffed that others in the Lancea were already informed that Bishop was saved and would know that it was Yulia who killed him in such a situation.
  • Yulia bought the bluff but decided that she didn't care. She made good on her threats.
  • Maia conjured a devil and Ludolf threatened Yulia back.
  • Yulia respected that and told Ludolf that they would decide another time which one of them were stronger.
  • Then the operatives and Bishop got out of there.

There was some discussion in the car-ride home

  • They speculated that they should align with someone.
  • The Vampires were informed by the sorcerers about the candle and Victoria's plans

After the event

  • There were very little fallout from the entire event. The news didn't cover anything about the Justicars.
  • The Blue Court contacted the Lancea a couple of days later, saying that if they wanted their people back they needed to negotiate or pick a side.
  • Bishop had a call with the Hierophants who told him that with the development of events the Lancea et Sanctum should leave New Trago.

Session 14 - 2025-09-29

“Victoria Mable wants to write the masquerade into the very fabric of Reality” - Carlos Torres

The operatives observed the soldiers and saw the Justicars taking Bishop away.
Maia's devil returned and repeated what it saw and heard.
They then went to help and organize the Lancea et Sanctum members who had not been captured.
Maia found them a safehouse with the Night Road, with a discount.
Ludolf and Murdoch then went to clear out of their appartments and get everything which they thought the government would find.

Maia and Elias went to the Clarion hotel to talk with Carlos and show that they had the everburning candle.
Carlos was questioning his alligence to the blue court and explained that he had done research for Victoria Mabel and her plan to write the masquerade into reality.
They asked how that was even possible and Carlos showed them the moon, and said that the symbols on it was patterns of Ur. He didn't know how she would use it but he was pretty sure that was it.

Maia and Elias then figured that they should try to do what they promised and go to find Manfred.
They scheduled a meeting with Opaline by calling the number she gave them, they then got a call back from to meet her at a café.
Opaline was interested in talking with them, she wanted to know secrets in exchange for the information they had. They kept holding out on her, so she had to press them.
They told her that the church had just been attacked and that they had investigated the attacks and found a strange machine under Microtech
She told them that inquisitions on vampires like the current one had happened before and they never worked out, the Blue court were soon about to retaliate on the Justicars.
She told them that to get into contact with the Pale court, the should go to a place called the underground bar in Northtown and ask for a drink called a devils bargain.

Murdoch spent the rest of the night observing the military and the church member that they had captured which was all gathered at the cathedral. Eventually all non-vampires was let go while the vampires was brought in vans.
Murdoch followed and found a military base just outside the city.
There he was confronted by Arnold Ti who said that if Murdoch and the church did not align themselves with the blue court then they would not tolerate their interference anymore.

Ludolf snuck in to the church, got into the catacombs and spoke to Bertrand and Mary.
He updated them on what was happening and they decided to stay there for the time being.

The operatives all met the next night to discuss what to do about Bishop

Ludolf had (before the attack on microtech) been picked up by Linda Fache to tend to the services he had agreed to.
He was no longer affected by her majesty aura.
On the way she had a discussion with him regarding his future. Ludolf did not seem to have many goals apart from saving Aric and being free. Linda offered to be of assistance, as a friend.

They went to a creepy run down manor where they met with some members of a circle of the crone.
Linda discussed their future agreement with the grey court, the grey court wanted them to start gathering night water and wanted use of their network with other circles, and they were a bit too fast to agree to anything.
The main speaker eventually revealed that they had made a deal with the Blue court and just wanted to know what the Grey court wanted before they captured Linda and delivered her.
Ludolf threateningly asked them to reconsider. Cross stuck a knife in him.
Ludolf ripped up Cross' chest as Witch stabbed him in the back and Linda fought Stain.
Ludolf then inflicted final death on Cross by driving his claws into his skull.
The others gave up as Ludolf healed his wounds. Linda renegotiated her deal with them, making their circle effectively slaves of the grey court.
Linda drove Ludolf home, he asked her and learned that the grey court is setting up a trade network, planning to become competitors to the Night Road.
When he was dropped off he got the sense that Linda seemed to like him.

Session 13 - 2025-09-22

“The inquisition may not be glorious, but it is necessary" - Marko “Flow” Banks

The operatives found themselves on the roof of the government warehouse.
Elias said that he could retrieve the candle, he used the Lethean pearl and snuck down.
Just as Elias took the candle he found a gruff looking man threatening him. That man and the Justicars had been able to see him the entire time.
The man punched him which triggered the others to act.
Murdoch supressed the lights as Ludolf jumped down, incapacitated the gruff man and found Elias and flew back up with him.
Ludolf flew over to the next building with Elias and the candle.
Murdoch made a shadow eye, then he and Maia decided to get out.
Maia conjured a devil that wished to open locks to distract the guards.
They got down and was confronted by a guard which they ignored since the guns still didn't work. Maia then changed the fence back into a repaired version just as they got through.

They went to escape by car when Murdoch noticed that the Justicars recieved a call which caused them to repriortize.
Ludolf took to the skies to investigate. He eventually found that the Justicars were going to the cathedral.
The operatives called Bishop and went after the Justicars.
At the cathedral, many of the Lancea Vampires got out according to plan but some seemed to be followed to the meeting spots.
Archibald, Mary and Bertrand went to the catacombs to protect the artifacts.
Maia made a devil to go in and spy.
Archibald Jayce had a talk with the Justicars.
The justicars was surprised to find vampires who did not violently resist them and Marko wished to talk. He explained that this was an inquisition. The Justicars had discovered that there was a vampire conspiracy and that it undermined human society.
Archibald argued against, saying that they had not enough proofs and were attacking what they did not understand.
Archibald offered himself up to speak with Justine Ytterum, the high Justicar.

Maia went to see her sister Tai who was a messy somewhat trashy and very skeptical too Maia being back.
Maia asked about Yun, Tai said she would set up a meeting and was then indignantly rude about if that was all. Maia realized that Tai was being right about Maia not really being there for her and changed her demeanor. She spent some time with Tai, taking her out to dinner as well and building up their relationship anew.

Maia later met Yun in an empty subway station at night. Yun had brought a guard called Ton Xi who had a gun.
Yun was very upset with Maia, didn't trust her and didn't understand everything that was going on.
Maia was able to get Ton Xi to step away and told Yun about the midnight society and the Masquerade, proving it by conjuring a devil which stabbed itself to show how it was not human.
Yun was shaken by that revelation but then still argued that her and the Mourners cause was not worth less because there was also vampires in the world.
Maia seemed a bit convinced by Yun's zeal and they parted ways

Session 12 - 2025-09-15

“So you’re a vampire then?” - Ilsa Engel

Maia, Elias and Ludolf went to the meeting with Selene Ashbourne who wanted out of the country.
They interrogated her and found that she had indeed seen the assaulters and that she had used the powers of the seeker to find where they had come from.
She agreed to tell them this if they got her to the archipelagoes instead. Deng Lin agreed.
She gave them directions to a warehouse in Northtown.
They had made sure to include a clause to look through her stuff before she left, she had a suitcase of money but no night artifacts.

They then went to retrieve Carlos Torres, Sandy had treated him to quite a bad time.
Sandy told them that Carlos was still hiding something and that he had apparently gotten the candle from Victoria Mabel herself. She also mentioned that he could safely be decapitated.
Elias was somehow able to convince Carlos that the experience had been for his best and that they were all on the same side.
They met Murdoch at the Clarion hotel bar and recapped.
They decided to look up the warehouse the next night.
Elias went to scout during the day. He found that it was a well guarded military facility. He was not able to find much, it was to guarded

Murdoch got an urgent message from Ilsa that he had gotten a meeting with the Justicar right then.
He met with Ilsa at the cathedral who seemed very nervous and directed him to a park.
Murdoch confronted her about it and confirmed that something was definitely up, but it was unclear what.
Before going to the park, Murdoch distracted Ilsa and covered up his licence plate and added a blood seal to his hat which suppressed firing mechanisms.
Murdoch met Kanrad Teal who insisted that he needed to do a test before they could talk. Two armed government agents appeared to convince him.
Murdoch refused and ran away. The government people held their fire. Ilsa insisted that on her fifth caste authority that they would let her handle it.
The others retreated and Ilsa and Murdoch had a talk. It was clear that the Justicars knew about vampires but not how much. Ilsa was surprised to find a good man to be one.
Murdoch did not tell her a lot about vampire society, and she didn’t tell him much about what they knew.
Ilsa brought back Kanrad who agreed to speak of the Wharf killer and to let her handle Murdoch.
He told him that the Wharf killer had definitely been a vampire who had very suddenly disappeared, and the then high Justicar had shut the case down.
Murdoch told Bishop about his meeting and that Yew Ti wished to meet.

Murdoch arrived late to the meeting but the other operatives did wait. They all went to the warehouse. Murdoch told them that the Justicars knew of vampires.
They scouted the place for a while.
Maia got them through the fence and distracted people by breaking lights with Alter
Elias diverted the guard routes with influence
Ludolf grew wings, flew up to the roof and pulled the rest up with a rope and vampire strength.
Through the above windows they were able to spot ~15 ish soldier, two justicars, a gruff out of place man, cages of vampires, and the everburning candle.

Session 11 - 2025-09-08

“Stealing is what we do Elias, we can find a way to get that third pearl.” - Elizabeth Crowhurst 

They discussed the events some more at the Clarion hotel before they all decided to retire for the night.
The next day the handlers were informed that several Blue Court sites had been attacked.
A small place called the Moonless Casino had been pinpointed as the place to investigate if one wished to do so discreetly.

They went to the Moonless Casino, The interior had been destroyed in a fight.
They found a vampire there called Ulric Tassow in the offices and questioned him. He had apparently been at the casino during the attack and had fled. He confirmed that justicars had been part of it.
He said that he was looking for a suitcase of money and that he thought Selene could have taken it. They asked about Selene and found that she was a sorcerer who also had been there, was missing and they got her address.
They then saw through the window that a house Ti member who had arrived.
Murdoch, Elias and Maia went to face him, while Ludolf got out through a window, dodging a second House Ti member and their animals.
The operatives spoke to Arnold Ti, who questioned their presence there and what they knew of what was going on.
The conversation was amicable, they presented themselves as Lancea et Sanctum and gave some information which the Ti didn’t know.
They were invited to discuss further at Ti Manor. Only Murdoch took that deal. The others went to investigate Selene’s address.

They found a small, empty bookstore and broke in. They found obvious traces that it was an occult store and that Selene had also lived there.
After checking more thoroughly they found that there was traces that Selene was leaving with the most valuable stuff and that she had hired the Night Road to transport her away.
Maia called Deng Lin and he arranged so that they would get a meeting with her.

Murdoch went to the Ti Manor and had a meeting with Yew Ti, former prince of Darcia, himself.
Yew was worried about the new developments and found that Murdoch had found more than they had.
Murdoch revealed that the Grey court seemed to be intending to undo the masquerade.
Yew Ti insisted that such a thing warranted an alliance between the Blue Court and Lancea et Sanctum.
Murdoch said that he did not have the authority to grant such a thing. He was told to arrange a meeting with Bishop as soon as possible and that the Blue Court could not sanction his investigation before he did.

Elias went to see Erik Nyqvist, a Serres art dealer he knew.
He through subterfuge convince Erik to give a letter to Eliza.
Eliza then appeared at the Pisces restaurant where Elias had told her to meet him.
Elias told her more of what was acctually going on and about his curse and that there was apparently a third Lethean pearl.
Eliza told him about her encounter with vampires. That she had not just been warned but that Yulia Seraph had in fact tried to kill her. She didn’t even know how she survived.
Eliza had also lost memories when she had the pearl.
They decided to work together to do what the Sphere wanted and steal the third Lethean Pearl from Eileen Yoma.

Session 10 - 2025-09-02

“I cannot say ‘Yes’” - Alejandro Airo

The operatives investigated the ruined laboratory and spoke to Carlo the corpse.
Carlo asked about a candle which was gone.
The Sorcerers decided to bring Carlo to Sandy. They put it in a box and had a devil carry it most of the way out. They then took Murdoch's car.

The vampires finished up searching the lab and found that there was a manager at Microtech who did know of the Torres group.
They found Alejandro Airo and spoke to him about the lab. There was something weird about him and Murdoch figured out that he seemed to be under a Justicar edict.
Murdoch used sanctuary to suppress the edict which partially worked.
They interrogated Alejandro and found:
- He was worried about Carlos
- He could not enter the lab
- He did not know the Blue court was involved 
- His hand had been burnt by the perpetrators
- He gave them license plates of the cars that had been there

They avoided some Blue Courtiers in white masks who investigated

Maia announced them to Sandy’s rats and they were let in.
Sandy was willing to help them in exchange for them finding the location of Manfred Constantine.
They learnt that Carlo was supposedly not fully dead because he was connected to a strange ur-artifact called ‘the ever-burning candle’. Sandy called him a Sage
Carlo could maybe be ‘saved’ by being made into a vampire.
Carlos time was running out.
They made a deal that Sandy would fix his body up and apply ink of the Host to him in exchange for Silk blood.

They gathered again at the Clarion Hotel bar.
Murdoch was not willing to share his blood.

Session 9 - 2025-08-25

“You know we have to stay ahead of this Jayce, You will have access to my people in the future.” - Yu Lin

Eileen Yoma sat in Archibald Jayce’s office with Madrog Sot when he walked in.
They had a short talk where Eileen wanted to follow up on her offer for Lancea et Sanctum to join the Grey Court’s side, implying that time might be of the essence.
Bishop politely declined.
The two of them did express sentimental attachment to each other as they parted.

The operatives met at the Clarion Hotel bar and discussed goings on in the city.
They talked about:
- The night road patched Elias up
- Drinks, Factions, and Politics
- Grey court has disappeared. Have they gone underground, literally?
- Maia earned a lot of money but still have debts
- Murdoch had a personal cold case
- Ludolf met some old faces who he hadn’t seen in a while
- Maia maybe saved her sister

The Blue Court had in the wake of the Grey Court's disappearance sharply told all other factions in New Trago to stay out of their business and to not interfere with anything outside their normal operations.
Both Yu Lin and Bishop had the impression that more things were going on and to not stay ahead of it might be worse than the Blue Court's ire.

Yu Lin had a shipment to the Torres group which didn’t get received which made her worried.
She sent Maia and Elias to investigate and due to the timing pulled on her alliance with Bishop to get him to send Murdoch and Ludolf as well.

The operatives made initial investigations into Microtech, the place where the shipment was going and found it to be a normal corporate building.
Elias snuck in and confirmed that the Torres group did exist there and had been unresponsive in every aspect.
They dressed the part of white collar workers and walked right in.
They concluded that the Torres group most likely would be in the cellar and investigated until they found an unmarked door which the floor plans didn't include.
Maia unlocked it and they went down and found a destroyed laboratory with remains of both dead humans and vampires. Seemingly killed by small point blank explosives.
They investigated the laboratory. They found that the Torres group was financed by the Blue court and that they had among other things been studying some sort of spindly machine. 
Then they found that one of the corpses with markings on its head could still talk.
The corpse said that it was Carlos Torres and he assured them after he learnt they were from the Night Road that he would be able to pay for their assistance.
None of them knew the Host so they were unable to decipher how he was not fully dead.
They decided to bring the corpse to Sandominous Omi.

Maia wanted to find her sister. She found that Yun was not arrested. With no other obvious avenues she went to Uncle Won, if he had gotten her into her mess, maybe he had gotten Yun into the terrorism.
Sum Won's shop was no longer in Freemarket. The entire district had been gentrified. It was now full of malls and modern buildings and the old culture was gone.
Maia found her Uncle later in Fastend. She confronted him, he was happy to see her and caved under her accusations.
He had not known what had happened to her and did not have anything to do with Yun.
Maia realized that he was in fact a very small man, who wasn't successful or in control and did not know what he was involved in.

Maia went onwards to see the rest of her family.
She went to Irun where her mother lived who was very glad to see her.
She met the entirety of her brother's family with his wife and three children.
She had a nice evening with them and took them out to dinner.
She found out that they had caved to society and we're now all first caste and Yun had fought with them about that.
When she left she spoke with her brother who wanted her to help Yun who had idealised her. He said their sister Tai might know.

Act 1

Session 8 - 2025-08-18

“There are thousands of vampires in the Grey Court, how incompetent could you be to have lost track of them all?!” - Ophys Seraph

There were rumors and events in the city. It was found that the Grey court had disappeared. All of their old hideouts and strongholds stood suddenly empty.

Ludolf Vael had received an invitation to the Pisces restaurant at Rumi Isle.
He was asked to wear something nice and asked Murdoch who concurred that the restaurant in question warranted it.
At the restaurant he made a check of the area and found the presence of supernatural shadows.
He then went inside to meet Linda Face.
Linda had three suggestions for him of what he could do to earn their help.
- Report to them about whatever he did in new Trago
- Help Linda in some future dealings by acting as a bodyguard
- Deliver messages from Eileen to Murdoch at opportune moments

Ludolf decided to go with the second option which made Linda seem very pleased.
She confirmed that none of the meetings would be too dangerous or involve the Blue court.
She then took him to a secret basement in Eastview hospital where they kept Artic in a padded room.
Aric wanted Ludolf to get him out of there and when Ludolf refused he threatened to claw out his own neck.
Ludolf was able to talk him down.

Bertrand introduced Murdoch Steele to Ilsa Engel, a religious state investigator whom he believed could help with the case of his death.
Ilsa was peculiar but agreed to help out and seemed to find the prospect of a cold case fun.
They went to check the Yumi isle archives and Ilsa used her clearance but was not granted access.
The clerk said that it was a bad time due to all the heat that was currently ongoing with Robert Ijagen.
Murdoch talked them past it and was able to observe that a divide had been created in the police force.
They went to the archives and spent all night looking through them.
At one point they met Yara Nuwo who seemed to be the reluctant leader figure for the decent marbians in the police force.
In the archives they found that Murdoch’s murder was connected to the warf killer at the time, an investigation which had ended abruptly.
They also found that a case assistant was still alive and currently working as a Justicar.

Elias Crowhurst was for his assistance referred to Sandominous Omi, a Nosferatu ex-ordo dracul member.
Elias found Sandy's lair in the Fastend sewers.
Sandy, who seemed very inclined to help due to the Night Roads patronage, took a look at the Lethean orb.
She quickly concluded that it was associated with the Sphere and seemed to have a want, one which Elias might be repressing.
She suggested communion if he wished to figure it out. He agreed right away and she offered to take care of his wounds as well in the process.
Elias laid down on Sandy's surgery table and drank the potion she gave him which brought him to full instability.
When he awoke he had been under for 26 hours, he did not remember anything. Sandy had healed him and told him that he had talked and the orb wanted someone called Eliza.
Afterwards, Sandy laid out Elias' options for handling the curse.
- Do what the Sphere wants, assemble it and involve Eliza?
- Approach the Circle of the Crone
- Suppress its influence by stopping using sorcery and hanging around cats
- Find someone in the city called the Manfred who might have more ideas

Session 7 - 2025-08-11

“Good work” - Archibald Jayce

Opaline yelled out “I surrender” as she was mauled by a hunter devil.
The operatives were sceptical but after Ludolf restrained her they were willing to hear her out.
Opaline told them that she was the assassin and also the person who had originally spread the information of the assassination.
The target had been Ilva Letter to take power away from the Justicars.
For an assassination to work it had to be public though for otherwise the courts would cover it up.

The operatives decided to lock the ten in their room to be saved when it was day. Then they took Opal with them in order to leave through the secret tunnel.
In the basement only Maia was able to see a message in blood on the wall which taunted Ophys Seraph.
They then ran into two Justicars who had found the secret entrance and were exploring it.
The Operatives sneaked past the Justicars and made their way out. Maia stayed behind while the other handled Opal.

Opal was eventually dropped off after she had told them a bit about her master, the demon Abyss.
Maia used night to mess with the lights and conjure a devil to make obstacles for the Justicars and prevent them from capturing the mourners.
She escaped before she saw how it went.

The news reported…

The Vampires reported to Bishop who was pleased with their performance but worried about where it was all going.
They left out Aric Seraph from the story.

The sorcerers reported to Yu Lin who found their performance acceptable.
They left out Maia's sister and Eliza from their report.

Session 6 - 2025-08-07

“The Grey Court didn't have a choice, they are obligated to let us speak with you.” - Maia Won

After he talked to Maia, Murdoch smoothed over his first impression with Eliza.
Murdoch, Elias and Eliza left the second floor rooms to head to the kitchen.
They find the kitchen without issue and search it. Murdoch does a stellar detective work and finds everything of note.
They find Matt, Matt's bag with thief's gear and a radio as well as a mourner's gun and radio. Murdoch also noted that Eliza was being suspicious.
They free Matt and Eliza gets ready to steal the painting and then hide and wait it all out.
With the evidence found they pressed the thieves and found that there was a third member on their team running comms.
The thieves left and Murdoch and Elias started to do the same.

Ludolf asked Aric about Mist, he didn't know much apart from that she was supposedly the only blue court elder not in New Trago.
He then returned to the rooms where a monster bow bared his path, it would not let him enter but seemed unsure as to if he could knock.

Maia went into the room and spoke to the members of the ten.
She presented herself as a representative of the Lancea et Sanctum, the neutral diplomats.
She inquired about what they had been told and then proceeded to undermine the Grey Courts position and offer.
She seemed quite successful with Semon while Ilva seemed sceptical.
Once Ludolf knocked, she went out and they had a short catch up.

Felicity Blueberry, wounded and with a machine gun, assaulted Elias and Murdoch.
Elias got wounded and used the Lethean Pearl which allowed Murdoch to talk her out of her shooting.
They had a short conversation where it was made clear that Jihn Terra had met final death and that Felicity was after vengeance on Maia who had betrayed them.
They decided to part just as Ludolf arrived. She accepted that they would part anyways but as she turned her back Ludolf ambushed her with the full murderous power of a Seraph.
He ripped up her chest and then crushed her head as she frenzied, taking no relevant damage.
They disposed of her suddenly aged corpse in a closet and quickly got Elias to the kitchen to treat his wounds.
A couple of Mourners arrived to investigate, Murdoch used the powers of Sanctuary to ensure their search omitted the kitchen.
Elias investigated these Mourners and eventually found that Maia's sister was not among them.

They eventually returned to the second floor rooms where all gathered at the windows overlooking the Gala to discuss the final steps. Some more people were dead and the trial seemed like it was wrapping up.
Murdoch realized that if one were to shoot someone in the gala then they were in the best spot.
Murdoch cast a spell to prevent the use of firearm mechanisms, Maia conjured a devil to hunt hidden foes.
The devil instantly found a target.

Session 5 - 2025-07-28

“The Grey Court has the resources to help your friend, in exchange we are going to want your help with some of our problems.” - Linda Fache

Ludolf jumped down to Aric, they had an initial exchange before Ludolf took him to a room to treat his wounds.
They had a conversation about how Ludolf was alive and free.
Linda and Murdoch joined them until Ludolf rudely closed the door on Linda in the room they found.
They eventually decided that Aric needed blood and went to go on a hunt.
Linda offered to provide a victim for them and Ludolf took her up on it.

Eliza had a conversation with Elias and Maia about what was even going on.
They decided to use the Lethean Pearl to follow Eileen and the Supreme council members.
They witnessed as Eileen invited the members of the ten to become actual members of the Grey court.

The conversation eventually ended in the second floor rooms where the overwhelmed council members were left to discuss.
Eileen afterwards addressed Maia, Elias and Eliza. She introduced herself and was unable to ascertain their affiliations again.
Murdoch was able to see that the tens had returned and excused himself.
Murdoch had trouble seeing through the effects of the Lethean Pearl.
Eileen warned against the influence of the Sphere and showed that she also carried a Lethean Pearl.
After some discussion Eileen seemed fine to leave the ten in the others' care and went to find Madrog Sot.

Maia and Murdoch discussed their progress and excluded Eliza which was not appreciated.
Maia conjured a watcher Devil to protect the ten.
Maia and Murdoch concluded that Maia would help Elias find the technician and Murdoch would try to get Maia's sister out.
Elias was able to calm Eliza from the others being rude.

Ludolf had a conversation with Linda about the Seraphs and blood bonds.
Linda offered the help of the Grey Court to get Aric out of the Seraphs grasp in exchange for an alliance.
Ludolf agreed to this deal.

Session 4 - 2025-07-16

“The stalemate is about to end, soon there will only be one court left” - Linda Fache

The police were assembling at the palace.
Maia's spell restraining her sister ended.
Hera Jo started the broadcast. He explained his plans and intentions to all of Hjero. And told everyone that Eders North, without the authority, started the strike suppression which led to the Kurun Incident.
Opal told Ludolf that she thought it was true but it was probably a vampire who had made him do that.

Maia and Elias found themselves in a locked room with the Seraphs and Madrog Sot.
Sot said that the Seraphs' arrival was part of the plan and their deaths would be an excellent ‘distraction’.
Yulia Seraph shattered a mirror she had on a pendant and told everyone to fight if they saw him or otherwise run.
Elias cast a spell to calm everyone, but combat commenced anyways.
Elias and Maia rushed to the door, unlocked it and then conjured restraints on it from the other side.
Then they went into the corridors, they went to check on Yun who was gone and realised that two mourners were coming for them.

When Eileen left him Murdoch decided to speak to Linda rather than shadowing the members of the ten.
He immediately liked Linda, and she was very willing to talk.
They spoke of the Grey Court, their view on things. Linda told Murdoch that he should consider that politics matter and that he might not be as bad at it as he thought.
She asked him to relay an offer of an alliance to his master.
Then they played cards.

Elias cast a spell to make the Mourners skip that room if they were searching all rooms, they still entered.
Maia and Elias quickly hid from the Mourners
When they were to leave a devil barred their way. Maia altered it with sorcery to stand aside.

In the main hall Ludolf and Opal noted that the police were preparing an armored car. Ludolf called attention to it by throwing something at the window.
Hera Jo warned the police but they didn’t listen. The car was stopped by a landmine.
Hera Jo then read up the crimes and executed three of the guests.
Opal then said that she needed to check something and brought Ludolf to the corridors. Ludolf used Beast to sense where she went which worked for a while until she suddenly disappeared.
Murdoch who had checked what happened when there was an explosion then found Ludolf downstairs since Ludolf had passed his shadow eye.
After a quick sync they went back up to play cards with Linda.
Ludolf was also affected by Linda’s majesty but was much less receptive to the pitch of the Grey Court.

Elias and Maia then decided to head to the Gallery to find Eliza, Elias’ wife
They were both quite unstable at that point and Elias went into a wall since he was sure it had been passable in a 4th dimension.
They found the Gallery and the painting which Eliza had been meaning to steal with all the quite advanced security features still intact.
Then Eliza found them, she had lost her tech guy who had been supposed to enter with the serving staff.
They speculated that he would be in the kitchen and was about to go there when they heard voices.
They hid and saw Eileen and the three members of the ten walk past but were unable to overhear much. They were pretty sure that Eileen did notice them.

There was a noise from downstairs and Linda, Murdoch and Ludolf went to check and found a bloody Aric Seraph beneath them.

Session 3 - 2025-06-30

“I am glad to hear that the Lancea et Sanctum has finally decided to support the one and only true Court” - Yulia Seaph

Maia had a conversation with the girl who introduced herself as Eileen Yoma in the corridors.
Eileen was curious and assumed that Maia was from the night road.
Maia revealed that she was there to stop an assassination in exchange for learning that Eileen represented the Grey Court.
Maia made a deal that if she stopped the Seraphs from arriving then Eileen would tell her where the missing members of the ten were.

Murdoch and Elias first questioned Blueberry's pick of backup but she convinced them that the Seraphs were the best people for the job.
They then led Blueberry and the squire to the basement and into the sewers where they parted ways.
Upon returning to the basement, the door out was locked from the inside, Elias made quick work of it.
They met Maia in the corridors.

Ludolf continued his talk with Opaline. She pushed him but he still did not reveal his allegiance.
When he inquired she only said that she was there to observe.

Maia and Elias went to follow Blueberry. The door to the basement was locked but opened after 7 knocks as instructed by Eileen.
Maia conjured a devil in the sewers to protect her.
They eventually found the knight on a street outside the palace who had already made the call for backup.
Elias tried to cast a spell which went wrong and seemed to drag him out of memories for a while.
Maia argued with Blueberry that calling the Seraphs was a terrible choice for the situation. She made good points and Blueberry agreed that once the Seraphs arrived Maia could speak to them about it.

Maia and Elias then called Yu Lin, they gave her cursory information about the situation and asked for a list of capable Mekhet within the blue court which they received.
Yu Lin decided to utilize what she learnt to gather favor with her contacts within the police.

Murdoch went back to the Gala to find Ludolf. He remembered the windows to the hall on the second floor.
On the second floor he was able to hear voices, one of which he determined to be Rychard of Torront.
When listening he thought he heard Rychard say the words ‘Blue Court’.
Murdoch went through the next room to set up a shadow eye outside the room with the members of the ten.
Murdoch then went to the ball room windows to find Ludolf who was not visible anywhere in the room.

Murdoch was when looking through the windows sneaked up on by Eileen.
There was a feeling of familiarity between them.
Eileen learnt that Murdoch was there on behalf of Lancea et Sanctum, he was there to stop an assassination on one of the ten and eventually he revealed that the information came from the pale court.
Eileen told him that she was from the grey court, that the grey court had sponsored the Mourners and that she was gonna have a conversation with the ten and that afterwards he could have them.
However she suggested that he shouldn't take them through the secret tunnel since that was the Mourners only way out.
They then talked case together about the assassination until Eileen had to leave to have a conversation with the ten.
She lastly revealed that she was a silk and told Murdoch to say hello to Jayce from her.

The Seraphs arrived. Maia argued with their leader Yulia.
She revealed that they were there on behalf of the Lancea et Sanctum and Yulia seemed delighted that the church finally took a side.
Yulia was convinced of their own capacity and did not stand down. However she did get a liking for Maia and invited her to help them keep the Masquerade up since that was a concern.
Maia seemed resigned to accept that as the best outcome she was gonna get.
The large group headed back into the palace cellar where the way out was once again locked.
When they turned around the way they came from was gone and Madrog Sot revealed himself.
“What are you doing here!?” growled Yulia.

Session 2 - 2025-06-24

“Let's see the Grey Court enact their plans when the Seraphs make their pet terrorists drown in their own blood!” - Felicity Blueberry

Hera Jo told the hostages that he is a Judge of Hjero and in the letter of the law evidence which had been brought up in an official court session is not possible to be rendered invalid.
They put bomb-collars on Eders North and Julius Remdon which Hera had a dead man's switch for.
The Mourners then started dividing the guests up in groups to wait.

Rychard of Torront protested which triggered Hera to threaten Murdoch, declaring that he was very serious about his actions and he had 300 hostages which wouldn't cause a political incident if they died.
Murdoch stealthily got out of the way.
Mira Lang, the Vampire who's part of the Mourners and who seemed to be living her best life, retrieved the remaining 3 members of the supreme council and sent them into a corridor where they were met by a businesswoman.

Elias used his artefact to become forgettable and went into the corridors.
Mira Lang ordered the Blue Court vampires to go to the hostage group in the far off corner where they were the least watched. Murdoch dropped his blush of life and was also sent there.

Opaline appeared next to Ludolf to check what he was doing there.
He did not reveal his allegiance but did confirm that he was not part of the Blue Court and that his Sire didn't know he was alive.
Opaline said she was at the gala for unrelated reasons to the mourners.
She wanted to go check out Hera Jo's documents and invited Ludolf who accompanied her.

Hera Jo officially started the court, making documents rise into the air, proving it was official.
Eders North then made a scene causing Hera to shoot a guest in the leg, who was treated. In the confusion, Felicity, the squire and Murdoch sneaked out into the corridors.

In the corridors, Elias first went to check where the missing members of the ten had gone. He found the door they used, from what he remembered of the palace layout he thought he might be close to paths to the Kitchen, Basement and Second floor.
He decided to go to the Basement to check on the secret exit, it took a while.

Felicity took charge over Murdoch right away when they got away, they first went to check on where the missing of the ten had left. They didn't find anything but Murdoch created a shadow eye there.
Felicity then stated her plan: Attract attention so they sent a team of Mourners. Kill them and take their weapons. Escape the palace and call for assistance from the Seraphs who would be able to take out the terrorists.
Then Elias found and found them. Felicity threatened him but was talked into letting him join. He then told her about the route in the basement. She wanted to go there right away.

Hera Jo let Eders North get a lawyer and then gave them a couple of hours to read through the necessary documents.
During this time the Mourners prepared cameras as if to film everything.

Maia remained passive for quite a while. Her sister eventually orchestrated a bathroom break to talk to her alone.
Yun took Maia into the corridors and told her to get out of the palace through the secret exit in the basement.
Maia tried to convince Yun to leave as well. It became apparent that Yun was a true believer in the cause and that any risks to herself wouldn't dissuade her.
Yun could be convinced to show Maia to the exit though.

Opal and Ludolf continued talking. They speculated on who everyone involved might be. Opal noted that Felicity was gone and theorized that unless stopped the knight might very well call for backup in the form of other Seraphs.
Opal offered to get Ludolf into the corridors but he declined.

On the way to the exit the Won sisters found a scared guest who ran and cornered herself in a palace room.
The girl revealed that she had seen some guests talking about killing everyone.
Yun insisted that she needed to take the girl back to the others and tell them about the escapees.
Maia argued with Yun and convinced her to lock the girl in the room instead. However the girl ran away when they were about to barricade it. Yun realized she couldn’t wait around longer.
Maia ran after Yun and used the power of Pandemonium to restrain her in a cocoon of silk.
She then got her restrained sister into the room and before being able to barricade it, accidentally restrained the door as well.
“That wasn't very subtle” said the girl who was back and had been observing the whole thing.

Session 1 - 2025-06-16

“One of the ten is going to get offed at that fancy party at the palace and it's going to be by one of the major players, just thought you should know” - Pale Court member probably

Murdoch Steele met Bishop at the cathedral and got the job explained to him.
Murdoch then meets Bertrand and Ludolf. They get some additional information and Bertrand has arranged evening wear fittings for the two of them.

Maia Won meets with her contract owner Yu Lin for the second time. She negotiates the offer she got of 5 million up to 7 million and agrees to take the job.
Elias Crowhurst met with Yu Lin for the first time. She explains the mission to him as well and agrees that she will with her resources help him with his occult problem if he aids them.

Everyone prepares for the job:
Elias cases the place as if it was a target. He learns that there is a blocked up secret entrance through the sewers and that the security company acts as if their contract is ending.
Maia uses her contacts and legal paperwork to get a guest list. She also learns that the officially stated catering company was cancelled.
Ludolf aids Murdoch in staking out the place. There is not much that happens, the catering company and security company are acting as expected.
Murdoch investigated the factions who would be the potential suspects. He learned that the Grey-Blue conflict had flickered out as of late. The Grey Queen was supposedly out of town while all the main leaders of the Blue Court were in town. He also learnt that it was Bertrand who was the source of the information that a member of the ten was going to be killed. He had apparently learnt it from someone he knew in the Pale Court.

The operatives met at the Clarion hotel bar, it was empty apart from them and a tight lipped bartender.
They had time to introduce themselves and complain about the job.

Elias later checked and the sewer entrance had been unblocked.
Maia's contacts reported that the catering car license plates checked out.

On the night of the gala the rain was pouring down.
A limousine delivered them to the party.
Four of the ten were in attendance.

The vampire operatives used the blush of life.
Murdoch looked for bad signs and noted that  every single one among the staff was of Marbian descent.
Elias used Sorcery to find people on edge. The staff were but also an older man whom he introduced himself to.
Ludolf studied the guests. He identified the Blue Court knight, Felicity Blueberry and her squire Jihn Terra. He also spotted someone he recognized as Opaline, one of Mists spawns.
Maia socialized with the ten, she didn’t have a chance to learn anything before she had a note delivered which said to meet someone in the corridors.

Elias was surprised to find his wife Eliza there. They had an early dance and pretended like nothing was amiss. He learned that she was there to steal the famous painting ‘Miracle at Dawn’. She learnt that he was there on a different job which seemed complicated.

Maia was confronted by her sister Yun, whom she hadn't seen in 15 years, in the corridors.
They were both surprised the other one was there. Yun quickly pivoted to trying to get Maia to leave the party.
Maia was able to press on what it was all about and got Yun to reveal that “they” were finally going to get some justice for the Southtown Slaughter.
Maia tried to tell Yun about the futility of revenge but they were running out of time. She did at least got Yun to promise not to kill Eders North and “maybe” got the sounds on a conjured contract.

Murdoch was still talking with the ten while the others gathered again just in time to see a man, a woman and ~30 something masked people in servant clothes march in with weapons.
The man fired in the air. Declaring the party to be over and introducing himself as Hera Jo. He then announced that they were there to put Eders North on trial for the Southtown Slaughter.
